Moving House

Daniel and I are moving house in about 2 weeks.  Going to a larger, stand alone house with a huge yard for Karma.  It is four bedrooms which of course we don’t need, but I’m going to set up one as a spare bedroom for guests, one as a sewing/art room for me and one as an office.  The master bedroom has an ensuite and a walk in robe (and we all know how much I love walk in robes!) so that is fantastic and the living/dining/kitchen area is huge and open plan, which I prefer.  This also means plenty of room for the birdies and their playpen.  The yard is fully fenced – colourbond style, so we don’t have to worry about Karma getting out and there is plenty of grass for the guinea pigs!  And the best part of all – the rent is $80 a week cheaper than where we are now!  The townhouse we are in now is brand new of course though, where as the one we are moving to is maybe 3-5 years old.  There are a lot of new houses in Chinchilla thanks to the mining boom.

Actually moving house is going to be exhausting.  Living out here means we can’t ask any friends or family to help and we have 5 days to do it in – between when Daniel comes off shift and when we have to be out of our current place.  It will be manic (pun intended) but Daniel assures me it is do-able.  If anyone wants to come to Chinchilla between Boxing Day and New Years your help would be greatly appreciated! lol.

I will post pictures of the new place when we settle in there.  So here’s to the stress of moving and the joy of being finished!

I’d like to thank you for the efforts you have put in penning this site.
I am hoping to check out the same high-grade content by you in the future as well.
In truth, your creative writing abilities has encouraged me to get my very
    own website now 😉
