So here’s the story. I was going to quit smoking and start jogging instead. That didn’t work out (excuse the pun) because I quit quitting smoking – I blame Daniel it makes me feel better. So then I decided that I still needed to find a way to exercise, so, while I was in Brisbane (evicting the tenants from hell), I found an exercise bike for sale on gumtree and bought it without further thought.
It was imperative that I do it while I had the inclination or my exercise regime would never get kick started. So now I have a recumbent exercise bike at home – in front of the TV of course and I’ve successfully done 1 hour on it every day since I got it (except when I had to go back to Brisbane). And I do feel better for it although I’m not convinced it’ll help me lose weight it should at least help curb my mental illness.
So the moral of the story is I am capable of doing exercise regularly and it is fairly enjoyable when you can watch your favourite shows while you’re doing it! So today I put the call out to everyone who has been procrastinating exercise JUST DO IT! I will keep you posted as to whether or not I keep doing it as time progresses lol.
